This is part of a series on Rewilding sites in the UK. Moor Barton is a rewilding site run by Robin and Annie in Devon. This painting depicts the wonder of fungi, a hugely beneficial life form like no other. It feeds on deadwood and in exchange gives back nutrients to the soil. This decaying larch is making space for native species of birch and oak to take its place.
