Part of a series on rewilding, this painting depicts the wildflower meadows at Broughton Sanctuary in Yorkshire. This enormous rewilding site is one of the largest and most quickly transforming landscapes in the country right now. From a green desert in 2021 its well on its way to being a rich mosaic of wildflower meadows and woodland pasture. This painting shows how rich the ground beneath our feet can truely be if only we give nature the time to heal.
