This piece highlights the Rewilding taking place at the RSPB site of Hesketh Out Marsh in Lancashire. This area of salt marsh is being managed very carefully by the RSPB with the aim of reclaiming more salt marsh which has been drained for farming since the 1980’s. This rare habitat is so precious , home to many species of bird. This piece was created in March 2025 and shows the marsh on the cusp of spring.
