Part of a brand new series of artwork highlighting the amazing work groups and individuals are doing to rewild areas of our countryside and cities. This piece depicts the work that is happening at Allestree Park in Derbyshire, led by Derbyshire wildlife Trust. The picture shows a handmade beaver dam engineered by the parks junior ranger team to help boost biodiversity. The ‘Be A beaver ‘ day proved to be very popular with the local community who have engaged beautifully with the project.
