News..... New Oxford Map work in progress!

The project

So some of you may remember that the year before last I set about creating a map of London. (Still available to buy from my website) My aim is to create a Oxford map which will become a Limited edition Giclee Print. It will be sold in galleries as a piece of artwork rather than a poster print and celebrate the historical beauty of the city.

How you can help ?

The reason I am asking people to pledge money for me to do this is pure and simple, it takes an enormous amount of time! So by pledging even a small amount of money on a pack of cards you will be funding me to spend time creating this map. The London project took 3 months to complete, but has proved to be worth the hours of work. It was published last year entitled 'Mapped' as part of a book of Illustrated maps of London by The Londonist  / and AA. I am hoping my new map will also get the chance to be seen by lots of map lovers!

New work of Marlow for 2018!

I have been busy creating lots of new pieces of Marlow, Bath and Henley... The Marlow pieces ( Marlow Riverside, Pictured above) are currently on show at the Tiny Gallery  on Hart Street in Henley.

My Background

I graduated from Falmouth College of Arts in 2004, where I studied Illustration. Since then I have worked as both an Illustrator and Artist, creating bold and fun illustrative pieces for both publishers and individual commissions.

My paintings are inspired by the waterways of England with a strong emphasis on the urban landscape. There are more than 50 paintings in my collection, with more being created all the time. They depict London, Bristol, Bath, Clevedon, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor, and Brighton, just to name a few. These works are available as original oil paintings, or where the original is sold most images are also available to buy as Gicleé or canvas prints.

I have been commissioned regularly over the years. This is a great way of having a painting personalised with members of the family, a familiar place or extra quirky editions – Please email me with your ideas!
